The head of KRAIL, Ivan Rudoy, has been detained: he is suspected of assisting Russia, according to the media.

On the morning of December 18, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations (GBR) and the Office of the Prosecutor General detained the chairman of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL), Ivan Rudoy, on suspicion of aiding representatives of the aggressor state.

This information was reported by a source to "Ukrainian Truth" in law enforcement agencies.

According to the source, during a search of the official's premises, a large quantity of a substance resembling narcotics was discovered.

It is known that KRAIL has recently come under media scrutiny due to its involvement with online casinos in Ukraine, which are linked to the Russian Federation.

In early December, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law stating that KRAIL must be dissolved by April 1, 2025.
