During a meeting with the French ambassador and a representative of the EIB in Mykolaiv, the construction of new treatment facilities was discussed, along with the issue of securing a loan for this project.

This was stated by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, in an interview on "Novini.LIVE".

The tariff issue was also addressed—specifically, how much water will cost the end consumer.

- We can take 100-130 million euros to build the most modern treatment facilities, but if the water costs 200 UAH per cubic meter, no one will be happy. Denmark has suggested bringing in additional experts and making the competition open, so not only French companies but also others that can offer the most effective technologies can be involved in this project. This matter is currently under discussion in the Ministry of Finance regarding the loan itself, but we do not know the amount yet because we are trying to optimize it, - said Kim.

In other words, reducing the project's costs will enable a lower water tariff, as expenses on loan repayments will decrease. This is the focus of current efforts.
