According to the results of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Ukraine will be represented by the band Ziferblat
The band Ziferblat, with their song Bird of Pray, scored the highest points among all participants – 19. The jury awarded them 9 points, while the viewers gave them 10.
In the final, ten participants competed for first place. The winner was determined based on the voting results from the jury (50%) and the audience (50%).
As reported by “Suspilne”, the Kyiv band Ziferblat was founded in 2015 by twin brothers Danilo Leshchynskyi (vocalist) and Valentyn Leshchynskyi (guitarist), later joined by Fedir Khodakov (drummer).
Ziferblat participated in the national selection for “Eurovision 2024.” That year, they secured second place with the song Place I Call Home — they were surpassed by alyona alyona & Jerry Heil with the song Teresa & Maria.
The song Bird of Pray is an emotional reflection on contemporary Ukrainian realities, intertwining the pain of loss, longing for home, and faith in the future. The central symbol of the composition is a bird, representing freedom, rebirth, and the anticipation of change.
