В столице откроется художественная выставка «Художники на фронте».

It will be showcased as part of the art project "ArtResistance"

The initiators are the National Union of Artists of Ukraine in collaboration with the "ABC-Art" gallery, reports the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications. The exhibition opening is scheduled for February 18 at 18:00.

According to the project curator, journalist and art manager Olena Kotlyar, the exhibition will bring together works by artists who are currently defending Ukraine. Among them are Serhiy Gerasymenko, Volodymyr Huryn, Roman Kravchuk, Ihor Talalay, Serhiy Burbelo, Viktor Solovar, Volodymyr Vakulenko, Vasyl Telychko-Evert, Artem Shevchenko, Mykola Medynskyi, and others. In total, over 40 works will be presented in various genres, including painting, graphics, installation, and art objects. Some pieces have been created using the "trench painting" technique on ammunition crates.

Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to see a painting by Serhiy Smetankin – an artist and military volunteer who has been in "hot" frontline areas since 2014. His work is dedicated to the liberation of Svyatohirsk during the Kharkiv counteroffensive. The painting carries the symbolic title – "Svyatohirsk. We Waited."

The exhibition will run until March 8, 2025. Address: Hlybovytska Street, 32 B, 3rd floor.
