The capital zoo invites visitors to come
The Kyiv Zoo continues to enhance the living conditions for its residents, including those in the aquaterrarium, even amidst the war.
This was reported by the press service of Kyiv Zoo.

“One of the main tasks of genuine zoos is to create conditions that resemble natural habitats. Since Kyiv Zoo has become a sanctuary for various animals from affected regions of Ukraine during the war, work on remodeling and improvement in the Aquaterrarium has not ceased,” the zoo staff shared.

Each species of animal, they emphasized, requires its own specific conditions for comfort. For some, it’s a shady exotic garden and specific soil, for others, it’s clear water and fountains, while for yet others, it’s warm stones and ultraviolet rays.
“All these needs are meticulously considered by our zoologists and purposefully arranged by our animal caretakers and technical services. This ensures that our residents are comfortable, warm, and well-fed, while visitors find the experience engaging and educational,” the animal caretakers noted.
Let us remind you, a guanaco baby was recently born at the Kyiv Zoo.
