The large-scale international festival “Baroque Fest-2024” for classical music enthusiasts will take place from November 14 to 22
It is organized by the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in collaboration with “Open Opera Ukraine” and the National House of Music.
During the festival, music from the 16th to the early 19th centuries from various parts of Europe will be featured. Works by Vivaldi, Bach, Bortniansky, Berezovsky, Couperin, and Rameau will be performed by superstar musicians.
As reported by the philharmonic, on November 14, the opening of “Kyiv Baroque Fest-2024” will feature the global superstar of early music, Jean Rondeau (France), on harpsichord. He will present a program of renowned harpsichord works from the French harpsichord tradition of the 17th–18th centuries, showcasing its unique characteristics.
