Participants will get acquainted with the Poltava traditions of decorating Christmas gingerbread and create their own decorated treats
On Saturday, December 28, the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine invites everyone to take part in a master class on decorating festive gingerbread.
The master class will be led by folk craftswoman Leonida Prochuk.
“The craftswoman has been baking and painting Christmas gingerbread for many years, studying and reviving Ukrainian traditions. It was Ms. Leonida who revived the traditional gingerbread from Poltava in 2004,” – the museum reported.
Date of the event: December 28, 1:00 PM.
Location: Lavrska Street, 9, Building 29, National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine.
Participation fee: 250 UAH + entrance ticket per person (for adults – 50 UAH, for schoolchildren – 30 UAH, for preschoolers – free). Participation is free for defenders of Ukraine.
