The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine will host the festival "Christmas Fairy Tale"
This event is dedicated to the conclusion of the New Year and Christmas holiday cycle. The festival, taking place on January 11, will showcase the diversity of Ukrainian Christmas rituals and their local characteristics. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the traditions of specific regions, informs the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications.
Visitors can look forward to: traditional caroling and generous giving performed by folklore groups from various corners of Ukraine; the Goat dance accompanied by songs and games; a meeting with the colorful Bukovinian Malanka and an original Vertep, which will reveal the Christmas story through folk theater.
Moreover, folk art masters will present unique handmade creations filled with the warmth and magic of the holidays: Christmas ornaments, protective charms, and decorations.
