This year's Christmas tree design is executed in white and blue tones
Today, on St. Nicholas Day, the main Christmas tree of the country was lit in Kyiv at Sophia Square.

This year, the tree is white and stands 15 meters tall. It is adorned with a light blue garland and nearly two thousand blue ornaments.
As in previous years, Ukraine's main Christmas tree is artificial. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, it was installed and decorated with the help of sponsors.
