The sculptures at Postal Square were adorned by their creator, artist Volodymyr Zhuravel, in celebration of Christmas and the New Year.
The costumes were sewn by the sculptor's wife, and the patches on the military uniform of Shchek are from the units where the artist's brothers serve, reports the Solomianskyi District State Administration.
The monument was officially unveiled on May 6, 2017.
