Occupants are destroying more than one cultural site in Ukraine every day
The Kyiv National Historical-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" and the Odesa Literary Museum have been added to the International List of Cultural Properties under enhanced protection by UNESCO.
This information was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
As noted by the Ministry, 25 cultural heritage sites in Ukraine were previously included in this list.
At the same time, the ministry pointed out that over the course of 1022 days, specialists have already documented 1222 instances of destruction of cultural heritage sites by Russian occupiers in Ukraine.
This means, the Ministry emphasized, that Russians damage on average more than one cultural heritage site in our country every day.
As a reminder, UNESCO recently included the Ukrainian Easter egg in the list of the cultural heritage of humanity.
