Zelensky stated that Trump could end the Russia-Ukraine war faster than anyone else in the world.

U.S. President Donald Trump has the potential to expedite the end of Russia's war against Ukraine. He possesses more influence over Russia than anyone else in the world.

This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Il Foglio.

According to Zelensky, the American president desires to conclude the war, but he does not yet have all the details and is unsure of the outcome.

"I told him that Putin does not want this, so it won't happen quickly. However, Trump, due to the strength, sanctions, resilience of the U.S., the economy, etc., can accelerate this process. At least, in my opinion, he can do it faster than anyone else in the world. From the perspective of the military, the economy, America's influence on the global economies, and his personal characteristics, I believe he can influence this certainly quicker than others," he stated.

The Ukrainian president added that China also wields significant influence over Russia, but he believes that the influence of the U.S. is greater.

Recall that previously Trump firmly urged Putin to stop the war against Ukraine and threatened measures that would compel Russia to do so. "If we do not reach a 'deal', especially in the near future, I will have no choice but to impose high duties, tariffs, and sanctions on everything that Russia sells to the U.S. and other countries," the American leader declared.

In Zelensky's opinion, such Trump's statement is a "signal of a strong man" and also indicates the U.S. president's desire to end the war waged by Russia against Ukraine.
